The Impact you will have in this role:

The Product Management, Associate Director, will drive the simplification and modernization of DTCC's client connectivity portfolio, bringing to market state-of-the-art multicloud and hybrid network connectivity models - including dedicated cloud interconnects, software-defined networking (SDN), and secure, scalable transport options that meet the performance, resiliency, and compliance needs of global financial institutions.

This role will shape the future of how clients securely connect to DTCC services - reducing onboarding friction, improving failover and latency performance, and enabling seamless adoption of cloud-native and hybrid operating models.

Partnering closely with Technology, Client Operations, Finance, Client Relationship, and other key stakeholders, the Associate Director will support the Product Management leadership of the Client Interfaces platform across the full product lifecycle. This includes defining strategy and OKRs, capturing the voice of the client and industry, developing critical initiatives and roadmaps, and overseeing execution and go-to-market strategy.

The role also supports platform business management by driving operational excellence and continuous improvement, with a focus on client experience, financial optimization, and risk management.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide transparency on the overall business value of the platform by developing and maintaining clear and regular reporting on the platform's roadmap, OKRs, KPIs, and financials to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure alignment between customers' book of work and OKRs with the Product roadmap by leading cross-functional planning, tracking progress, and identifying gaps or dependencies.
  • Improve Platform Management operating model and governance, including policies and procedures.
  • Support the development and execution of the product lifecycle management process for the platform. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Road tests those solutions with internal and external clients to make sure the solutions work for them .
    • Work closely with internal and external customers to identify gaps/opportunities and identify solutions to address these.
    • Help shape product direction by prioritizing features based while keeping partners informed and aligned throughout the process.
    • Support other members of the delivery team as the onsite voice of the customer, resolving queries as they are raised.
    • Partner with internal customers to bring platform to market
  • Manage the day-to-day operations and performance of the platform and find opportunities for improvement in client experience / satisfaction, efficiency, and risk reduction.
  • Contribute to the development of platform strategy and long-term vision, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs.
  • Translate strategy into clear roadmaps and actionable initiatives, partnering with delivery teams to drive execution.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience as a Product Manager (not Product Owner, Project Manager, or Delivery Lead) for a connectivity service or product.

  • Track record of accountability for platform or product outcomes (client experience, operational excellence, financial performance)
  • Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to develop and conduct presentations for clients and executive management
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tool strongly preferred
  • Exposure to cloud, hybrid, or network connectivity technologies (e.g., cloud interconnects, SDN, secure transport), or demonstrated ability to quickly learn technical domains
  • Experience with financial management, P&L management and/or cost allocation strategies
  • Understanding of core technology concepts related to B2B system integration preferred (network connectivity, channels, formats, etc.)
  • Experience in Agile methodology preferred
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or enterprise technology environments
  • Foundational knowledge and experience with the technology stack supporting the platform
  • Experience facilitating and leading working groups and other relevant subject matter workshop.


The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
