Full Job Description
The Role:

The Client Care Relationship Manager will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer and will be tasked with leading the team that ensures best in class client support while driving account growth for the bank. The ideal candidate should be a seasoned banking expert with an entrepreneurial mindset driven by continuous growth and improvement to maximize the client experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and acquire new banking opportunities for Piermont Bank through business development and bank marketing campaign efforts.
  • Responsible for managing, staffing, and scheduling all direct report work schedules within the team, including recruiting/identifying talent, interviewing, and successfully onboarding and training new teammates.
  • Growing relationships with existing customers by understanding their businesses and catering to their banking and service needs.
  • Overseeing the client experience by managing new client onboarding, advising on appropriate products and services including treasury management services to meet client needs, and problem solving for the clients.
  • Collaborating with internal teams with efficiency and assist with any problem solving related to client experience.
  • Understanding branch and deposit related operations and being able to provide oversight and guidance to ensure compliance of regulatory, security and internal controls, which includes timely completion of all client operations tasks.
  • Supporting related marketing and business development strategies by actively participating in relevant trade, community, and client networking events.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 plus years of relevant banking experiences including business lending, credit, or business development.
  • Strong business development skills and proven sales track record in generating new business.
  • Leadership and management experience, with proven ability to coach and develop to drive sales excellence, ensure the delivery of excellent customer service, and operational integrity in a high-volume environment.
  • Ability to drive an exceptional customer experience.
  • Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess industry trends and leverage appropriate resources to grow the commercial portfolio.
  • Retail Banking Regional Branch experience preferred.

The hiring range for this position is $100,000 to $125,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus and/or incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, vision, 401k, and other benefits.
