Compensation: Level 9: $51.44/hr-$61.44/hr PLUS Northern Allowance.

What will you do: As a key member of the Engineering & Capital Projects team, you will:
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of civil infrastructure and capital projects from concept through construction and closeout.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with technical, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor field activities, track project progress, verify completed work, and maintain accurate project documentation and records.
- Contribute to project success by supporting cost control, scheduling, reporting, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you need to succeed: - Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Registration, or eligibility for registration, as a CET or EIT would be considered an asset.
- Experience supporting heavy civil construction projects, preferably within hydroelectric, utility, or large infrastructure environments.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating construction activities, overseeing contractor performance, and supporting project delivery in a field-based environment.
- Experience tracking project progress, labour, equipment and materials, quantities, and construction documentation.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, operations staff, and project stakeholders.
- Commitment to safe work practices and environmental stewardship, including knowledge of construction site safety requirements and procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and project or construction documentation systems.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- First Aid, Fall Arrest, and Confined Space Entry certifications, or the willingness to obtain them.
Working Conditions- Significant travel throughout the Yukon, including regular travel to Mayo and other remote project sites, is required.
- Overnight stays away from home and extended periods in the field should be expected.
- Overtime, evening, and weekend work may be required to support construction schedules, project milestones, and operational requirements.
