Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to lead and manage our firm's Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program. This key individual will develop and implement strategies to ensure the technical quality, consistency, and compliance of all our engineering deliverables. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in civil engineering principles, a thorough understanding of industry standards, and a commitment to upholding the highest levels of project excellence.

Responsibilities
  • QA/QC Program Development and Management:?Create, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive QA/QC program for all civil engineering projects. Develop checklists, procedures, and templates to guide quality processes.
  • Technical Standards and Training:?Define and enforce technical standards within the firm, staying up to date with the latest industry codes, design standards, and best practices. Provide training and guidance to engineering staff on QA/QC procedures.
  • Quality Reviews and Audits:?Conduct regular audits and in-depth technical reviews of designs, plans, calculations, specifications, and reports to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to client requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous documentation of all QA/QC activities, create reports on quality metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Corrective Action and Improvement:?Initiate corrective and preventive actions when non-conforming work or processes are identified. Collaborate with project teams to implement solutions and prevent future issues.
  • Regulatory Compliance:?Ensure designs and deliverables meet all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications
