Job Description

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Civil Engineer with zero to three years of experience, who wishes to gain site development experience for a variety of projects, learn how to develop new business relationships, and work in a professional, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be an outgoing, enthusiastic self-starter, with a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team and be willing to have fun!

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar ABET-accredited program
• Civil Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) required or pending
• Zero to three years' experience
• Experience and/or interest in general site engineering including creating conceptual plans, preparing construction plans, working with senior civil engineers, collaborating with other engineering disciplines and architects, visiting construction sites, and providing technical assistance during design and construction
• Design skills for preparing site plans, grading and drainage plans, storm water management design, water and sanitary sewer utility plans, ADA accessibility, and other associated improvements
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D drafting system and standards preferred
• Experience with MS Office programs
• Desire to work as a pro-active team player
• Effective technical writing and communication skills
• Excellent time management skills.
• A positive, can-do-attitude.

Expected annual salary of $76,000 - $90,000.
