The Opportunity

WSP Canada is seeking an experienced Civil 3D Library Manager to lead the governance, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our national Civil 3D content ecosystem within the Transportation Systems business.

Reporting to the Digital Delivery Team, this role will serve as the steward of WSP's Transportation Systems Civil 3D environment, overseeing the standards, templates, styles, catalogs, configurations, and supporting technologies used across transportation projects nationwide.

This is a highly collaborative role that requires deep technical expertise, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to bring together content developed by subject matter experts across multiple disciplines into a cohesive, scalable, and well-governed enterprise solution.

The successful candidate will help establish and maintain a consistent, high-quality Civil 3D experience that improves productivity, enhances design quality, and supports digital delivery excellence across WSP Canada's Transportation Systems business.

Your Impact

Civil 3D Content Ownership & Governance
  • Own and manage the Transportation Systems Civil 3D content library across Canada
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve Civil 3D templates (DWT) and associated content
  • Establish governance processes, quality standards, approval workflows, and release management procedures for content updates
  • Define and maintain content lifecycle management practices, including documentation, testing, validation, versioning, and deployment
  • Serve as the central point of accountability for Civil 3D content quality, consistency, and usability


Content Development & Management

Oversee and maintain:
  • Drawing templates (DWT)
  • Object styles
  • Label styles
  • Layer standards
  • Feature line standards
  • Alignment and profile standards
  • Corridor code set styles
  • Assemblies and subassemblies
  • Quantity takeoff criteria
  • Survey content and configurations
  • Sheet production configurations
  • Project Explorer configurations
  • Discipline-specific content and workflows
  • Client-specific content requirements


Pipe Catalog Management
  • Manage gravity and pressure pipe catalogs used across Transportation Systems projects
  • Maintain associated part families, specifications, rules, and configurations
  • Develop and manage catalog creation workflows and supporting software platforms
  • Coordinate with discipline representatives to ensure catalogs reflect business requirements and industry best practices

Advanced Civil 3D Technology Leadership
  • Provide technical leadership related to advanced Civil 3D capabilities
  • Maintain expertise in Subassembly Composer and corridor modeling methodologies
  • Support the development and optimization of custom assemblies and parametric design content
  • Evaluate emerging Autodesk technologies and recommend adoption strategies where appropriate


Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with transportation discipline leaders, designers, BIM leads, and technical subject matter experts across Canada
  • Consolidate, rationalize, and standardize content developed by various regions and project teams
  • Facilitate collaborative working groups and content reviews
  • Balance national consistency with project- and client-specific requirements

Required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within an engineering consulting environment
  • Advanced expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D
  • Demonstrated experience creating, managing, and maintaining Civil 3D content libraries and standards
  • Extensive experience with:
    • Civil 3D templates (DWT)
    • Object styles and label styles
    • Assemblies and subassemblies
    • Subassembly Composer
    • Pipe network and pressure network content
    • Content governance and standards management
  • Strong understanding of civil infrastructure design workflows and project delivery processes
  • Proven ability to collaborate with technical subject matter experts and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills


Preferred
  • Experience working for an Autodesk reseller, implementation partner, or consulting organization specializing in Autodesk technologies
  • Experience with Autodesk Forma
  • Experience with AutoLISP or related technologies
  • Experience developing or managing pipe/pressure pipe catalogs and associated authoring tools
  • Experience with content deployment, configuration management, and enterprise software rollout strategies
  • Familiarity with BIM, digital delivery, and model governance practices


Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77 400 - $102 500
MB & ON: $70 600 - $97 200
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $69 900 - $92 900
