We are currently seeking a Chief Technology & Transformation Officer - Healthcare (Remote) to join our team in Dallas, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Architect will serve as the senior technology executive responsible for leading all technology services, platforms, infrastructure, applications, data, analytics, and transformation initiatives for a large, complex hospital and healthcare system. This role will provide strategic and operational leadership for the end-to-end technology landscape while overseeing the transition, stabilization, modernization, and continuous improvement of IT services.
The successful candidate will bring deep healthcare technology leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing large-scale hospital IT environments, leading technology transformations, improving clinical and operational outcomes, and delivering exceptional technology services that enhance patient care and clinician experiences
Key Responsibilities: Enterprise Technology Leadership- Own and govern the complete healthcare technology ecosystem, including infrastructure, service desk, datacenter operations, service management, clinical applications, enterprise applications, data platforms, analytics, cybersecurity, and digital health solutions.
- Define technology strategy, architecture standards, and innovation roadmaps aligned with hospital and clinical objectives.
- Act as the executive technology advisor to healthcare leadership, clinical stakeholders, and operational teams.
Healthcare IT OperationsLead all enterprise technology services, including:
- Network, cloud, storage, compute, virtualization, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery.
- Service Desk, Clinical Service Desk, Technical Service Desk, End User Computing, and Field Services.
- Clinical applications, EHR/EMR platforms, enterprise integrations, and digital health technologies.
- Enterprise data, reporting, analytics, AI, and business intelligence platforms.
Stabilization, Modernization & AI Transformation- Assess and optimize the current technology environment, operating model, tooling, service maturity, and technical debt.
- Drive enterprise-wide technology transformation focused on:
- Infrastructure and cloud modernization.
- Enterprise tooling consolidation and optimization.
- AIOps and intelligent operations.
- Observability, monitoring, and predictive analytics.
- Automation, self-service, and workflow orchestration.
- Auto-remediation, self-healing platforms, and proactive incident prevention.
- AI-powered service management and operational intelligence.
- Reliability, resilience, and performance engineering.
Clinical & Business OutcomesPartner with clinical and operational leadership to use technology as a strategic enabler to:
- Improve patient care quality, safety, and outcomes.
- Enhance clinician experience and reduce administrative burden.
- Increase operational efficiency and productivity.
- Enable data-driven clinical and business decisions.
- Accelerate digital health innovation and adoption of AI across clinical and operational workflows.
Qualifications- 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including executive-level healthcare IT leadership.
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience leading technology organizations within large hospital systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), academic medical centers, or multi-hospital healthcare enterprises.
- 10+ years deep expertise in healthcare technology operations, clinical systems, infrastructure, enterprise architecture, data and analytics, and large-scale transformation programs.
- 3-5 years of demonstrated success delivering AI, AIOps, automation, observability, cloud, and modernization initiatives that improve service reliability, clinician productivity, patient outcomes, and operational performance.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $153,158 - $340,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
