About this Position: As Chief Operating Officer, you will be a strategic partner to the CEO, leading operations across our entire cancer care system. This role oversees medical oncology, radiation oncology, pharmacy, support services, physics, and quality, spanning more than 20 locations Louisiana and 1 in Mississippi. You will drive alignment across these disciplines and regions, harmonizing operations and patient care, while integrating financial stewardship into daily operations. Your leadership will ensure our teams deliver on our mission to improve survivorship and lessen the burden of cancer.
SCOPE: Responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of patient care programs furnished by Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. Serves as the Chief Executive Officer's strategic partner in leading enterprise operations, executing organizational strategy, driving operational excellence, and ensuring exceptional patient, physician, and team member experiences across the enterprise. Builds and sustains trusted partnerships with physicians, health system executives, community organizations, and strategic partners to support operational excellence, organizational growth, and exceptional patient care.

3. Drives organizational performance and financial stewardship
4. Leads operational excellence through people, partnerships, and innovation
5. Serves as a responsible member of the senior management team
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree Required, Masters in Business Administration or Healthcare preferred
15+ years of clinical and business management required.
Experience in financial and administrative operations, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Must also have proven experience in information technology planning, organization, and development.
