Position Summary
Partners with a business or functional leader to drive execution of strategic priorities, operational initiatives, and organizational objectives. Serves as a trusted advisor and key coordinator across teams, helping align priorities, manage critical initiatives, facilitate decision- making, and ensure effective communication and execution. Responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, and monitoring of business priorities and organizational programs while driving operational excellence across the function.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
- Strong project and program management skills, including planning, exec tion, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into concise executive-level
insights and recommendation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Effective relationship-building and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
- Experience creating executive presentations, dashboards, and leadership
communications.
- Self-directed with the ability to anticipate needs, exercise sound judgment, and drive outcomes independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, collaboration tools, and reporting/analytics platforms.
This role:
- Supports strategy execution and operational management.
- Leads departmental or functional initiatives.
- Facilitates leadership operating rhythms and cross-functional coordination.
- Acts as an advisor and business partner to a VP or senior leader.
Director Chief of Staff:
- Shapes enterprise or organizational strategy.
- Represents executives in senior leadership forums.
- Oversees highly complex, multi-functional transformation initiatives.
- Influences executive decision-making and organizational direction at a broader scale
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Project Management, Finance, Communications, Information Technology, or related field.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$75,400.00 - $165,954.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
