Chief of Staff

About the Chief of Staff role:

Snappr is looking for a new Chief of Staff to join our team as we head into the next phase of our business. You will serve as the heart of the organization, working as the link between our CEO (ex-McKinsey) and the company's department heads. You will play a key role in overseeing finance, strategic partnerships, M&A, and more. You will gain great insight into how to start and run a 300 person company that is at the forefront of both professional photography and AI-generated image creation.

In case you were in any doubt, this is not an EA-type role. The CEO already has an EA :)

Responsibilities:

  • Become the right-hand of the CEO to map out and prioritize strategic business moves, including our Generative AI strategy.
  • Work with the leadership team to develop and maintain KPIs and OKRs across all departments.
  • Be able to step in for the CEO in virtually any situation with both internal and external stakeholders, but especially on critical projects.
  • Oversee vendor negotiations and build strong relationships with our vendors.
  • Lead financial strategy and P&L management across the global organization, including strategic procurement and project management of key finance projects.
  • Develop strategic partnerships including channel partnerships and partnerships with key players in the generative imaging space.
  • Anything else that comes up! Take ownership of Snappr's growth and do whatever it takes to get the job done.


Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm.

About Snappr

Snappr is a technology company headquartered in San Francisco whose primary business offering is an on-demand professional photography booking service. The company also offers a free photo analysis tool for use with social media profiles. Snappr's key investors include seed accelerator Y Combinator. Snappr was founded in May 2016 by Matt Schiller and Ed Kearney in Sydney, Australia. The two met while attending the University of New South Wales and, while still at the university, founded prior venture, online graduation retailer, GownTown. The company initially serviced Australian cities of Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
