About the Role

The Child and Adoescent Psychiatrist will provide clinical and operational leadership for Avance Care’s psychiatry practice, partnering closely with the Chief Medical Officer and Chief of Psychiatry to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and advance clinical and organizational initiatives.

This role is ideal for a practicing, board-certified physician who combines strong clinical expertise with a passion for developing teams, leading clinical change, improving the patient experience, and building a high-performing psychiatric practice.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide clinical leadership focused on comprehensive, patient-centered psychiatric care.

  • Lead clinical change and promote evidence-based best practices across the organization.

  • Partner with the Chief Medical Officer and Chief of Psychiatry on clinical and administrative initiatives.

  • Drive quality improvement and clinical standardization across Avance Care.

  • Lead the development of a high-performing clinical practice, balancing exceptional patient care with operational effectiveness.

  • Build, develop, and support collaborative clinical teams with clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability.

  • Foster a culture of teamwork, professional development, and organizational growth.

  • Provide effective physician and team supervision, management, and leadership.

  • Help grow the psychiatry practice toward financial independence while maintaining a strong focus on quality and patient outcomes.

  • Apply a practical understanding of medical practice operations and the economics of running a healthcare practice.

  • Support and optimize virtual healthcare delivery and operations.

  • Promote an exceptional patient and provider experience.

  • Use data, critical thinking, and sound clinical judgment to identify opportunities and drive meaningful improvement.

  • Perform administrative and other duties as needed to support the success of the practice.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Board-certified physician.

  • Actively practicing physician with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical or healthcare environment.

  • Strong clinical judgment and commitment to high-quality psychiatric care.

  • Experience leading clinical change and/or quality improvement initiatives.

  • Understanding of medical practice operations and financial fundamentals.

  • Experience with virtual health delivery and operations.

  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to analyze complex situations, solve problems, make independent decisions, and delegate effectively.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and web-based systems.
