As Chief Engineer you will be responsible for providing an environment that is safe and comfortable for our guest to receive the best service. You will develop, implement and modify programs for preventive maintenance of the property, grounds and equipment. Establish maintenance schedules and prioritize repairs and maintenance to minimize disruption to guests. Ensure that guests receive prompt, professional treatment and courteous service in response to their maintenance needs. Establish department equipment and inventory levels to be maintained, and work with the General Manager on ordering procedures. Maintain, monitor and test the hotel's emergency and security systems, features and procedures. Perform daily inspections to ensure property grounds and work areas are maintained to standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous maintenance experience to include plumbing, electrical and HVAC.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members.
