Partner in Clinical Excellence as the Chief Anesthesiologist in Brockton, MA at Signature Healthcare, Brockton Hospital

Local Team Collaboration:
  • We believe in local, site-led leadership.
  • Strong collaboration between all 5 physicians and 16 CRNAs on the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide perioperative and postoperative care for Signature Healthcare, Brockston Hospital, which covers general, ortho (including spine), ENT, endo, vascular, podiatry, minimal thoracic, plastics, and OB/GYN services.
  • Works in collaboration with CRNAs, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other physicians and medical professionals to ensure appropriate anesthesia services are delivered.
  • As chief, in conjunction with the Medical Staff of the Facility, establish and maintain standards of patient care as it relates to anesthesia, including initiating medical care evaluation studies after consultation with administration of the Facility and as needed to ensure quality patient care;
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality, safety, and appropriateness of patient care services provided within the Department and take appropriate action based on such findings.
  • Represent the department on the Medical Staff of the facility, serve as liaison between the department and other departments of the Facility, and attend and report on activities of the Department at the various committees and general meetings.
  • Work closely with Sound, hospital administrators, and surgeons.

Scheduling:
  • 1:5 physician rotation with a guaranteed post call day off.
  • 10 weeks guaranteed off annually.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of a US Residency.
  • Board certification in Anesthesia.
  • Active MA license.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

  • Robust compensation package with guaranteed base salary and opportunity to maximize income.
  • W2 compensation: $650,000.
  • 1099 compensation: $690,000.
  • Annual chief stipend of $50,000 for admin duties.
