A career as a Chief Analyst in the Consolidation team at National Bank means acting as a subject matter expert in consolidated financial reporting and the financial close process. This role allows you to make a meaningful impact on the organization through your expertise in financial accounting, consolidation, and financial analysis.
Your Role - Collaborate with accounting teams to prepare financial data, elimination entries, and adjustments required for monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
- Produce regulatory reports for Canadian authorities while ensuring compliance with established deadlines.
- Perform financial analyses to support business activities and decision-making across the Bank.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Bank's business segments, subsidiaries, budgeting processes, cost allocations, and operational volumes.
- Contribute to consolidation initiatives related to new accounting standards, regulatory changes, and organizational transformations using SAP G/L and Group Reporting.
- Improve processes and build strong partnerships across the organization through a data-driven and innovative approach.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- CPA designation
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SAP G/L and Group Reporting
- Experience with Power Query good to have
- Strong expertise in financial accounting, consolidation, and financial statement preparation.
Languages: English, French
