Qualifications

• Ph.D. preferred in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on laboratory experience in chemicals, materials, biomedical, or textiles research.
• Experience with synthetic chemistry techniques for polymers or small molecules.
• Familiarity with materials characterization techniques such as rheology and spectroscopy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for a dynamic R&D environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop new chemical formulations and biomaterials for medical applications.
• Design and execute test methods for characterizing biomaterials.
• Perform chemical functionalization and analyze physico-chemical properties with instrumentation techniques.
• Assess functional performance of materials in both in-vitro and in-vivo contexts.
• Plan and conduct scientific experiments, analyze results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Identify and proactively resolve experimental challenges.
• Contribute intellectually beyond the immediate field as needed.
