We are looking for a highly motivated Chemist in our Chemical Artificial Intelligence group located in Sugar Land, Texas. The Chemist will support and validate our digital chemistry work, including AI/ML outputs, simulation results, and basic product selection. The role includes executing core chemistry analytical and performance tests (EB. CI and other main product lines), generating high-quality data, and independently learning and operating new lab equipment to support continuous improvement of our models and recommendations.

What You Will Do:
  • Validate AI/ML and simulation recommendations using lab testing and chemistry judgment
  • Support basic product screening/selection and benchmark comparisons for defined use cases
  • Perform routine chemistry analytical tests and standard lab evaluations; ensure strong data quality and repeatability
  • Learn and operate new laboratory equipment independently; follow or develop standard operating procedures as needed
  • Summarize results clearly and enter/upload data into the designated user interface, following required protocols for formatting and good data quality
  • Collaborate with research, digital, and field teams to translate results into the required data format


Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS degree in in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or related fields with 3+ years of relevant experience, or MSc degree with 1+ year of experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a laboratory environment and ability to set up and operate special equipment following manufacturer's instructions
  • Exhibit high attention to detail and quality service
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of customers needs
  • Strong problem solving-skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with AI/ML simulations
  • Product formulation/development experience
