Position Summary:

We are seeking a Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen team, drive culinary execution, and uphold the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This hands-on leadership role requires a dynamic and experienced chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage kitchen operations, staff training, and cost control, and is passionate about introducing new flavors, techniques, and trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation meet the company's high standards.
  • Execute innovative, seasonal menus that align with our brand and guest expectations.
  • Lead, train, and mentor the culinary team to maintain excellence in execution and kitchen efficiency.
  • Manage kitchen staff scheduling, hiring, and performance evaluations.
  • Control food and labor costs while maximizing efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and a top-tier guest experience.
  • Monitor inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to maintain quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Partner with the Executive Chef and corporate team on staffing, training, and performance management initiatives.

What We're Looking For:
  • 4+ years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef in a high-volume (over 10mm annually), upscale dining environment, with prior progressive career growth.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and local health department regulations.
  • Expertise in cost control, labor management, and kitchen efficiency.
  • Culinary school graduate or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
