Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace or a related field; PhD/MSc preferred.
• 5+ years of Body CAE Simulations experience using ABAQUS and NASTRAN for Chassis.
• 3+ years of NVH simulations with NASTRAN.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams in automotive production work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of automotive suspension systems and vehicle dynamics.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Perform chassis and suspension structural, fatigue, and vibration FEA using ANSYS, NASTRAN, LS-DYNA, or equivalents.
• Analyze components like control arms, subframes, and related systems under various loading conditions.
• Develop FEA models and boundary conditions according to HMG CAE requirements.
• Correlate simulation results with physical test data to enhance model accuracy.
• Generate technical documentation and reports to inform design decisions.
• Build and validate chassis and vehicle models with Nastran and ABAQUS.
• Collaborate with design and CAE teams to drive simulation-based decisions.
