Charge Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Surgery
Lead Registered Nurse
Full-Time | $45-$48 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM-4:30 PM | Friday 8:00 AM-12:00 PM

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Registered Nurse to help coordinate daily clinical operations while remaining actively involved in patient care. This role works closely with physicians, nursing staff, and support personnel to promote efficient workflows, high clinical standards, and a positive patient experience throughout the surgical process.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily staffing coordination and clinical workflow management.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing and support staff.
  • Coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Provide nursing care throughout the pre-operative, procedural, and recovery phases.
  • Complete patient assessments, monitor treatment responses, and communicate changes in patient condition.
  • Document clinical findings and patient information accurately in the EHR.
  • Promote compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and established protocols.
  • Support patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory initiatives.
  • Supervise support personnel and reinforce facility standards.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuing education activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment.
Preferred
  • Experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and/or pain management setting.
  • Experience using Athena EHR.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • CPAN certification.
