Summary:

The Microsoft Copilot Specialist plays an important role in the Channel Exchange sales process. The Copilot Specialist is part of a team of resources we provide our customers and sales partners to help them understand, position, adopt, and expand Microsoft Copilot solutions through Channel Exchange. Copilot Specialists have consistent involvement with our customers and partners, mostly related to their Microsoft Copilot requirements, readiness, use cases, licensing considerations, and adoption strategy. Copilot Specialists are subject matter experts supporting both our customers and the various sales resources within Channel Exchange. A Copilot Specialist needs to have a strong understanding of Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365, AI-powered productivity use cases, customer readiness requirements, adoption best practices, and the licensing programs that support each opportunity.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Focused on Microsoft Copilot opportunities within Channel Exchange, including Copilot for Microsoft 365, Copilot Chat, Copilot-related Microsoft 365 attach, and applicable AI productivity solutions.
  • Managing relationships within the existing Channel Exchange customer and partner base while supporting new Copilot adoption opportunities through partners and account teams.
  • Assisting and supporting Channel Exchange sales on Copilot opportunities, including discovery, readiness assessment, pilot planning, adoption strategy, expansion, renewal, and attach opportunities.
  • Help customers and partners understand Copilot value, use cases, business outcomes, deployment considerations, and adoption requirements.
  • Analyze, create, and supply Copilot readiness, usage, adoption, and optimization recommendations to customers to show productivity gains, efficiency opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Deliver reports, talking points, and customer-ready recommendations for upcoming customer meetings, Copilot sales conversations, renewals, and expansion discussions.
  • Help with determining profitability and solution fit on Copilot opportunities, including appropriate Microsoft 365 prerequisite licensing and attach motions.
  • Keep up to date with current Microsoft Copilot offerings, SKUs, promotions, roadmap updates, adoption resources, security considerations, and partner programs.
  • Serve as a Copilot subject matter expert for Channel Exchange sales teams by supporting enablement, positioning, objection handling, and customer conversation preparation.
  • All other necessary activities to ensure the continual growth of the Channel Exchange Microsoft Copilot and AI productivity business practice.
  • Other duties as assigned


Reporting Relationships: Sr. Director - Channel Exchange

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience with Microsoft cloud, Modern Work, Microsoft 365, Copilot, or related productivity solutions. Strong emphasis on Microsoft Copilot
  • High School Diploma required; degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365 products and services, and how AI productivity tools create business value for customers.
  • Must have Microsoft related certifications; Copilot, Modern Work, AI, or Microsoft 365 certifications preferred.
  • Ability to translate customer business needs into practical Copilot use cases, adoption plans, and solution recommendations.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to service Channel Exchange customer and partner accounts with quality, timeliness, and professionalism.
  • Experience solving complex customer problems and recommending practical technology solutions.


Preferred:

  • Strong, hands on experience with Copilot
  • 2-5 Microsoft certifications specific to Microsoft Security and/or Copilot


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand at a computer terminal for long periods of time.

  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, combining remote and in-office attendance designated for this position.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.


Compensation:

Base Range : $120,000 - $140,000 and total compensation range: $150,000 - $175,000

Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.

For non-sales roles and sales roles with a variable component, total compensation reflects both a base salary and variable targets.
