We are looking for an experienced Change Management professional to lead change initiatives for Business Banking from initiation through implementation and long-term sustainment to achieve meaningful business results. This role focuses on engaging leaders, stakeholders, and impacted teams to ensure change is clearly understood, accepted, and embedded, fostering an engaged workforce that understands what the change means for both customers and employees.

The successful candidate will execute and drive change management activities using an established OCM framework, including assessing change impacts, managing stakeholder engagement, developing change strategies, and compelling change stories, defining key messages, building change collateral, and assessing business readiness.

Working closely with project stakeholders and Change Partners across the organization, this role will proactively identify risks and issues, recommend solutions, and develop action plans to ensure people-dependent benefits are realized and sustained. Strong experience in large-scale, technology-driven change initiatives, familiarity with the PROSCI ADKAR framework, along with the ability to balance business, people, process, and technology considerations, is essential for success in this role.

Provides expertise in the design, development, management and implementation of assigned strategic initiatives from business case development through to execution. Develops business goals and key performance metrics to support initiative/program monitoring and enable insights. Ensures cross-group coordination and logistical support for the implementation of change. Works across BMO to deliver specific initiative/program results in alignment with overall group goals.

  • Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group for assigned initiatives/business programs.
  • Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.
  • Assists in the development of strategic plans and holistic business programs.
  • Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
  • Helps determine business priorities and best sequence for execution of business/group strategy.
  • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Ensures alignment between stakeholders.
  • Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Employs systems (e.g. customized exception reports, tracking reports etc.) to manage information.
  • Integrates information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis and/or streamlined reporting.
  • Monitors and tracks performance and addresses any issues.
  • Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
  • Participates in change management activities.
  • Provides input into the planning and implementation of strategic insights programs.
  • Reviews the ongoing programs for effectiveness, considers industry trends and recommends enhancements; makes changes as required.
  • Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.
  • Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Combination of Financial Services and Technology exposure; solid understanding of digital issues/trends and how to leverage technology for competitive advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of BMO27s digital channels and workplace technology platforms and services.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.

    Salary:

    $75,900.00 - $141,900.00

    Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group27s expected target for the first year in this position.

    BMO Financial Group27s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
