Chain Account Specialist Position Summary:The Chain Account Specialist is passionate, innovative, and self-motivated with a business-orientated and customer-focused mindset. The Chain Account Specialist's primary responsibilities are to support the analytical, reporting and tracking needs of the Off Premise Strategic and National Accounts Division across the state of Massachusetts.
Daily/Position Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):- Monitor and implement pricing, merchandising, and competitive activity.
- Partner with National, regional, and corporate accounts for fast and effective compliance.
- Set up and maintain pricing conditions and pricing delivery documents according to the company's pricing structures.
- Coordinate pricing changes to ensure timely receipt of price changes, updates, and corrections.
- Review reports daily to ensure pricing is up to date, minimizing failed deliveries due to pricing.
- Review daily all departmental changes made to the master files to ensure compliance.
- Research and resolve billing and pricing inquiries; notify management of any issues.
- Communicate all credit/debt transactions, validating all necessary approvals.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures as it relates to billing & pricing.
- Participate in project teams as needed and assist with project implementation.
- Monitor features/activities and track sales and cases on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Assist in monitoring the impact and effectiveness of programs currently in place.
- Provide monthly reports to chain account leadership.
- Able to travel as needed to attend meetings.
Minimum Qualifications: - High level of Excel capabilities and able to analyze and understand data.
- Able to leverage SGBC technology to perform duties and responsibilities.
- Able to take responsibility for own actions and results; commits to providing a consistently high level of service to customers, suppliers, colleagues, and management.
- Able to communicate effectively through various methods and express self clearly and concise while appropriately tailoring the message to the audience.

- Able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Able to maintain a valid and current driver's license and travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, beer and non-alc. products.
- Able to quickly learn new information, skills and/or technology.
- Advanced level of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Goal-oriented focused, and assertive individual who needs little direction or supervision.
- Thrive on creating and selling innovative ideas and demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Understand retail pricing and can calculate retail margin and markup.
Compensation:Southern Glazer's offers a competitive compensation package with expected annual total earnings between $70,800 - $101,000/year including incentives. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.
