Full Job Description
D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Centralized Disclosure Specialist Team Leaderfor their Financial Services Secondary Marketing Department. The right candidate will manage teammates within the centralized department to issue initial and subsequent re-disclosures to consumers for multiple loan types in multiple states. Accuracy and timeliness are paramount due to the regulatory and business requirements related to disclosures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Pipeline Management
    • The Team Leads are responsible for over sight of the CDD Dashboard and direct communication with the staff.
    • Monitor the CDD Dashboard and related reports to ensure proper progress is made and disclosures are issued in a timely manner
    • Contribute to CDD Specialist Meetings
    • Be available to staff for questions and assistance on files.
    • Work with Branch Management, Underwriting Department, Product Development, Closing and other departments to coordinate solutions on files.
    • Develop relationships with staff. Lead by example; foster a team atmosphere and attitude. Motivate the staff to manage individual workload proactively, not reactively.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly Supervises two or more employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university plus one year related experience; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
