Clinical Decision Support (CDS) Informatics Specialist to support the design, implementation, and optimization of CDS solutions across the network. This role partners with clinical, operational, and IT teams to ensure decision support tools align with evidence-based practice, regulatory standards, and organizational goals. The ideal candidate brings clinical experience, Epic expertise, and a passion for improving workflows, caregiver adoption, and patient care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities - Implement, optimize, and govern clinical decision support tools, ensuring alignment with CDS standards, style guides, and best practices.
- Serve as a CDS subject matter expert, supporting tools such as BPAs, order sets, and medication-related alerts.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders, operations, and IT teams to identify and deploy effective CDS solutions.
- Analyze data and trends to drive enhancements, workflow efficiencies, and clinician adoption.
- Support system-wide CDS initiatives, solution design, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
- Promote compliance with regulatory requirements and Epic standards.
- Champion innovation in clinical technologies that improve care coordination, documentation, and operational effectiveness.

- Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum two (2) years of clinical practice experience required.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with Clinical Decision Support tools required.
- Significant CDS or related clinical informatics experience may be considered in lieu of RN licensure.
- Clinical candidates, including RNs, LPNs, and MAs, must be licensed to practice in the State of Indiana.
- Epic certification must be obtained within three (3) months of hire.
- This position will allow flexibility to work remotely. Community caregivers performing work remotely are permitted to live in the following states: Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Florida and Texas. Caregivers are not allowed to perform work remotely outside of the above states. Applicants from other states may apply; however, if hired, they will be required to relocate to one of the above states within 60 days of their employment date.
