Qualifications

  • BLS Provider certification to be obtained within 30 days post-hire.
  • Required credential in one of the following areas: Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist (Radiography), or Cardiac Sonographer, all to be obtained before hire or transfer.
  • Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
  • High School diploma with 2 years of experience, or an Associate's degree, or 4 years of relevant job experience required.
  • 1+ year of recent experience as a Cardiovascular Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures and prepare testing sites.
  • Review patient medical histories prior to procedures.
  • Interpret test results and monitor patients for abnormal findings.
  • Correct recording errors in test results.
  • Ensure lab and equipment cleanliness and functionality, including reporting issues.

Department: Associate Travel Program - Cardiac Cath Lab

Schedule: Multiple Shifts available | 40 hours per week

Gross Rate up to $3,684 per week

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Assisting with diagnostic and treatment procedures, reviewing medical histories, and preparing testing sites.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Approved Local Exception preferred.


Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • 1+ year of recent experience as a Cardiovascular Technician.
  • ARRT certification highly desired
