Description

What You Will Do
• Provide daily direction, coaching, and support to assigned team members
• Serve as an accessible resource through Teams and other firm communication channels
• Conduct regular one on one meetings to review performance, priorities, development needs, and concerns
• Review workloads, deadlines, and case progression to identify delays, risks, or support needs
• Complete weekly file audits and provide clear, job related feedback
• Monitor the quality and accuracy of case notes, client communication, medical treatment documentation, insurance information, case grading, and file development
• Help team members prioritize competing demands and maintain accountability for established workflows and deadlines
• Address routine client, carrier, workflow, and team escalations
• Promptly elevate legal questions, significant case risks, missed deadlines, employee relations concerns, and matters requiring additional authority
• Coordinate with attorneys, department leadership, HR, and supporting departments to resolve issues and maintain consistent operations
• Support training, onboarding, knowledge sharing, and the continued development of Case Managers and supporting team members
• Identify recurring workflow challenges and recommend practical process improvements
• Maintain a strategically reduced caseload while meeting the same quality, documentation, and client service expectations required of the Case Manager role

Requirements
• At least three years of progressively responsible personal injury case management or pre litigation experience is preferred
• Previous experience leading, mentoring, training, auditing, or providing quality oversight is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage a personal caseload accurately and meet client contact, documentation, and case progression standards
• Working knowledge of personal injury case flow, medical treatment, liability, insurance coverage, damages documentation, and common escalation points
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide direct and constructive feedback respectfully
• Ability to analyze reports and file activity, recognize trends, prioritize risks, and follow through on corrective action
• Proficiency with SmartAdvocate, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, and related case management tools, or the ability to learn them quickly
• A high level of organization, reliability, discretion, sound judgment, and accountability
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant professional training is preferred

Salary Description

$39.00 - $45.00/hour based on experience
