As our
Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will be responsible for Company Products conforming to customer specifications. You'll enjoy working in a fun, collaborative, and fast (high-mix/Iow-volume) manufacturing operation. Work closely with the Quality Manager. Possess leadership skills to direct and train all quality control inspectors and Test Inspectors/Assemblers to ensure maximum understanding and performance in all procedures. Will work with three VSMs to coordinate support, production problem-solving, and technical support.
Leadership & Core Responsibilities:- Maintain related documents to interface directly with customers
- Providing attentive service and project support
- Conduct internal quality auditing, corrective and preventive action, and quality records system
- Verify for compliance to company standard of workmanship
- Supervisor the QA admin team and ensure quality team's workmanship is up to company standards
- Lead AS9100 annual recertification audits
- Manager, verify and update Winchester's QMS to ensure it meets industry standards and are up to date per our standard work
- Be focal point to support PR's management of the QMS as Garden Grove is the primary site
Position Requirements:Education & Technical Qualifications- Education: Bachelors in engineering preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the contract manufacturing industry.
- Industry Domain: Possess working knowledge of inspection techniques, tools, and equipment used in the inspection and testing of cable, harness, and electromechanical assemblies. Must have in-depth knowledge of highly technical engineering principles and processes. Must know how to apply Engineering knowledge and related codes and standards in analyzing and developing effective assembly systems, generating specifications, and delivering technical presentations to clients. Able to apply QA/QC theories to achieve actual quality goals.
- Regulatory Compliance: U.S. Citizenship.
Certifications & Competencies:- Certifications: IPC/WHMA-A-620 and/or J-STD-001 certification is strongly preferred. ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CQA) is a significant advantage. Systems Proficiency: Google Workspace, ADP, Syspro, QMS, Smartviews, Salesforce, Planful, AwardCo.
