Eligible c a ndidates are hired into a Full or Part time position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. C urrent MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months of separation from employment.

Full Time (36 hrs ); Day Shift

Summary:
The Cardiac Sonographer II performs moderate complexity exams and procedures, requiring independent judgement and the ability to recognize abnormal findings.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
  2. License/Certifications: ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography required. BLS certification required, or must be obtained within 30 days of start date..
  3. Experience: Minimum one year of Cardiac ultrasound experience required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Performs TEE and/or stress Echocardiograms.

The pay range for this position is $40.06 to $54.20 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
