Full Job Description
Title: CAPV Global Improvement Lead
Location: Houston, TX

Additional Locations Include: Lake Jackson, TX or Charleston, TN

Salary: $135,000 - $198,000
Schedule: 9/80 or 5-8s
Relocation Available

Focus: The CAPV Global Improvement Lead is responsible for for developing and implementing global process and technology-related improvement and growth plans to create a long-term competitive advantage for the business units. The CAPV Global Improvement Lead is the primary contact for the effectiveness of improvement processes, including supporting plant-level improvement projects, project methodology, productivity, and the implementation of LEAN 6 Sigma, as well as closing performance gaps.

Essential Functions:
  • Develop and lead the implementation of the Global Technology Plan into Unit Technology Plans for responsible facilities.
  • Investigate alternative, non-traditional technologies for the growth and optimized operation of production facilities.
  • Work with the Technology Center Associate (TCA) to transfer important technological advancements for the respective technology to other facilities or technology areas within the business units or other relevant business units within Olin.
  • Leads the development of technology and project skills for employees within the Improvement Organization for their area. Supports administrative supervisors in goal setting and performance evaluation.
  • Leads Technology Center reviews and develops implementation plans for improvement actions in collaboration with plant, maintenance, and local Improvement Team Leaders.

Position Requirements:
