  • Risk management and analysis, e.g., risk register, quantitative (probabilistic) risk modeling, root cause analysis, issue management, prudency reviews (including service impacts, permitting/ROW/utility risks, and systems integration risks)
  • Construction project management and controls, e.g., schedule control, cost control (budget, accruals, forecasts), earned value, change management (including work windows, safety in operating environments, and complex interfaces)
  • Complex schedule analytics, e.g., critical path method (CPM), float, schedule compression/time-cost trade-off, change impacts (including staged construction and outage planning)
  • Contract development and management, e.g., procurement processes, administration, scope control
  • Performance metrics and project reporting (including dashboards aligned to capital delivery and operational readiness)
  • Project technology, e.g., project and portfolio management, applications to quantify cause and effect of delays (including PMIS/document controls/scheduling toolsets typical in transit/transportation capital programs)
  • Develop road mapping and strategic plans to be used by key business leaders to make informed investment decisions.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 3+ (THREE) years experience
  • Experience directly leading client relationships and/or project teams

  • Engineering or technical expertise in project controls, project management technology, capital infrastructure, preferably within transportation/transit capital programs
  • Experience drafting documents, memos, letters, and other formal communications to clients, including board-ready or stakeholder-facing materials
  • The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
  • Due to nature of client engagements, US Citizenship restrictions may apply
  • No sponsorship is available for this position

What Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Master’s Degree (MBA, MPP, MPA, etc.)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), AICP, EIT, or PE
  • Experience with Federal grant funding environments, including transportation funding programs (e.g., FTA, FHWA, USDOT), and associated compliance requirements such as grant administration, reporting, and oversight expectations
  • Experience managing PMIS deployment across multiple industries, including transportation/transit capital delivery organizations
  • Experience with industry‑leading capital planning and program/project management technologies, including but not limited to scheduling and cost tools (e.g., Primavera P6) and PMIS platforms (e.g., Aurigo Masterworks, Kahua)

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
