Job DescriptionThe Capital Introduction team at Cantor Fitzgerald in New York is seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial professional to join as an Associate. In this role you will work closely with Vice Presidents and senior team members, gaining direct exposure to hedge-fund managers, institutional investors, and senior leadership while supporting capital-raising initiatives across the firm's alternative investment platform.
Responsibilities- Support client and allocator relationship management across designated territories
- Conduct market research to identify prospective institutional investors and introduction opportunities
- Assist in expanding and maintaining hedge fund manager and investor coverage
- Coordinate investor meetings, conferences, roadshows, and capital introduction events
- Prepare investor-facing materials, market updates, and internal reports
- Maintain detailed records of manager and allocator activity in CRM and internal databases
- Track industry trends, allocator mandates, fundraising activity, and market developments
- Respond promptly to client and investor inquiries, ensuring high-level service
- Collaborate with Prime Brokerage, Sales & Trading, Research, and other internal stakeholders on business development initiatives
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree with strong academic record
- 2-5 years of experience in Capital Introduction, Investor Relations, Business Development, Prime Brokerage, Asset Management, or related financial services role
- Demonstrated interest in hedge funds, alternative investments, and institutional investor markets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms
- Established industry relationships (preferred but not required)
- Self-motivated, proactive team player with high professionalism, integrity, and discretion
Salary: $125,000 - $175,000 + Discretionary Bonus
