Cannabis attorney with 4-6 years of experience to support our Phoenix office.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated attorney seeking career growth. You will be entrusted with significant responsibilities and a diverse, challenging caseload from the outset.

Position Requirements:
  • Must be admitted to the Arizona bar in good standing.
  • The ideal candidate will have regulatory & administrative code experience in the cannabis industry, to include:
    • Advising cannabis industry clients on regulatory and administrative code requirements applicable to adult-use recreational and medical cannabis businesses.
    • Preparing, managing, and submitting cannabis license applications, renewals, amendments, and related regulatory filings before state and local agencies.
    • Representing corporate and business interests in connection with cannabis operations, entity structuring, governance, transactions, and ongoing compliance obligations.
    • Counseling clients on real estate regulations and requirements affecting cannabis facilities, including zoning, land use, leasing, site selection, permitting, and operational restrictions.
    • Monitoring changes in cannabis laws, regulations, agency guidance, and administrative procedures, and advising clients on business impacts and compliance strategies.
    • Coordinating with business owners, investors, landlords, regulators, and other stakeholders to support compliant cannabis business operations.
    • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, correspondence, policies, and agreements related to cannabis licensing, operations, real estate, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential
