JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Senior C++ Developer to design, develop, and deliver high-performance software solutions for enterprise platforms and connected systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with modern C++ development, Python programming, Windows-based applications, networking technologies, and automated testing frameworks. This role requires strong technical leadership, software design expertise, and the ability to mentor engineers while driving complex projects from architecture through deployment in an Agile environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade software applications using modern C++ and Python.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance solutions across software and hardware environments.
• Develop and enhance applications running in Windows-based environments.
• Create technical designs, architecture documentation, and implementation plans for complex software projects.
• Develop robust object-oriented software components using industry best practices.
• Build and maintain automated test solutions using Cucumber, Behave, Gherkin, or similar frameworks.
• Develop and execute unit tests using Google Test, cppUnit, or comparable testing frameworks.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot networking solutions utilizing TCP/IP and socket-level communications.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex software, hardware, integration, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and promote development standards, quality practices, and engineering excellence.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.
• Support Agile development processes, sprint planning, estimation, and delivery activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to software quality, testing, performance, and maintainability.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and technology roadmaps.
• Support software deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution activities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on C++ software development experience.
• Minimum 1 year of C++ development experience in a Windows environment; multiple years preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Modern C++ (C++11, C++14, C++17, or later).
• Minimum 3 years of Python development experience.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, principles, and design patterns.
• Experience leading projects, mentoring engineers, or providing technical leadership.
• Experience implementing test automation frameworks using Cucumber, Behave, Gherkin, or similar tools.
• Experience developing and maintaining unit tests using Google Test, cppUnit, or equivalent frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and socket-level programming.
