Buyer/Planner (i-Health)Shelton, CTThe Buyer/Planner is responsible for managing the end-to-end materials planning and purchasing process to ensure reliable supply for production while optimizing inventory levels. This role supports manufacturing, co-manufacturing, and distribution operations by balancing service, cost, and working capital in a fast-paced CPG environment. This role partners closely with Operations, Supply Planning, Quality, Finance, and suppliers to maintain material availability, execute purchase orders, and manage supplier performance.
The Buyer Planner is a member of the Global Operations Team and plays a critical executional role in day to day supply chain activities. The position requires strong cross functional collaboration across the organization, a passion for excellence and an obsession with customer and consumer service.

Projects/Special Assignments: At times the position will lead and take an active role in continuous improvement projects, such as process and system improvements.
You Bring:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Finance, or related field.
- 2-5 years in planning, purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
- CPG and Contract Manufacturing experience HIGHLY PREFERRED.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, JDE, etc.).
- Familiarity with MRP, BOM structures, production processes, and S&OP/IBP environments.
- Strong knowledge of SIOP, inventory management, and supply chain planning principles.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and supplier-facing skills.
- High attention to detail and strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaborator across the organization with a passion for the Brand and customer excellence.
- Demonstrated success driving working capital improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
The salary scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $100,000.00 - $135,000.00.
