About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Sr. Analyst to serve as a strategic partner between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role is responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing solutions within the Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) platform to support talent management, learning, and HR initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong functional knowledge of Cornerstone with exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, HR, Learning & Development teams, and technical teams to translate business needs into scalable Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) solutions.
  • Gather, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and system requirements for Cornerstone modules including Learning Management, Performance Management and Succession.
  • Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to identify business challenges, process improvements, and system enhancement opportunities.
  • Design and recommend end-to-end CSOD solutions that align with organizational talent management and learning strategies.
  • Configure, optimize, and support Cornerstone functionality, ensuring solutions meet business objectives, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • Develop functional specifications, process flows, use cases, user stories, and business process documentation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, system administrators, and vendors to support integrations, data migrations, and system enhancements.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), validate system functionality, and ensure solutions meet business requirements before deployment.
  • Manage defect resolution by analyzing issues, documenting root causes, and coordinating fixes with appropriate teams.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Cornerstone OnDemand (LMS)
  • Experience operating within large, global organizations supporting complex Learning & Development (L&D) environments.
  • Recent and up-to-date Cornerstone OnDemand Certifications

Proven hands-on expertise in configuring and managing Cornerstone Workforce AI LMS, with deep functional knowledge across:

oLearn (LXP and Learning Management)

oTransform (Performance, Succession, and Talent Marketplace)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Cornerstone API, integrations and security infrastructure desirable

Experience in the Cornerstone Workforce AI interface strongly preferred.
