Sentar is seeking a Business System Analyst SME in Chantilly, VA!

Role Description:

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will lead collection, capture, and management of mission user needs from prioritization through concept development, and user story writing to support development and deployment of software. You will facilitate the gathering of business-focused requirements to support product teams and product owners in defining the backlog and ensuring the users' perspective is considered. Your focus on requirements gathering will drive improved usability, user experience, and user adoption and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead collection, capture, and management of mission user needs from prioritization through concept development
  • Facilitate the gathering of business-focused requirements to support product teams and product owners
  • Focus requirements gathering on improved usability, user experience, and driving user adoption
  • Identify core business needs and decompose and document in concepts of operation, story maps, briefings, and user stories
  • Document business rules and construct workflow diagrams as needed
  • Provide consultation on complex projects while considering business implications of technology application
  • Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes into functional requirements
  • Conduct project meetings and ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Coordinate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure alignment with business requirements

Qualifications:

Clearance Level:
  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field

Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business analysis or related field
  • Experience with SAFe Agile framework

  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise application rollout and adoption
