DescriptionThe Business Solutions Architect designs and delivers business intelligence and analytics solutions that support Managed Care related operational and strategic decision-making across UCLA Health's Faculty Practice Group. This role will be working closely with the Managed Care Department. This role partners with clinical, operational, and business stakeholders to develop dashboards, reports, applied AI and data solutions using Epic Clarity, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL-based reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex dashboards, reports, and data extracts using Tableau, Power BI, Epic Clarity, and Caboodle.
- Leverage Python for data transformation, automation, and advanced analytics workflows
- Integrate LLM-based capabilities for summarization, classification, and insight generation (e.g., call center analytics, CRM insights)
- Analyze healthcare and managed care data, including claims, authorizations, and provider data, to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Partner with business and clinical stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into scalable analytics and reporting solutions.
- The position applies advanced knowledge of enterprise analytics tools and healthcare data models, including Epic Clarity, to deliver scalable and reliable reporting solutions.
- Perform data validation, quality assurance testing, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency of reporting outputs.
- Monitor and optimize reporting performance while resolving complex data and system issues.
- Support cross-functional analytics initiatives by providing insights, documentation, and end-user guidance related to reporting and data interpretation.
Salary Range: $ 95,400 - $208,300/anually
