POSITION SUMMARY
Business Process Managers will lead a variety of projects in different strategical areas such as business process improvement, organizational transformation, global or local IT transformation, cultural transformation, and offshoring. They are the change agents and will work with the business to drive transitions and process excellence initiatives.
Business Process Managers are responsible for masterminding, outlining, and developing projects. They design the "as-is" vs "to-be" states as the backbone of every initiative, build the requirements for application's development, including RPA technology, project goals and success markers, determine how success will be measured and tracked as well as for identifying, prioritizing, and regularly reviewing a portfolio of projects for the assigned area of responsibility. Delivers significant, verified business results (both process and financial). Trains, coaches, and holds accountable team members to implement process improvements and organizational transformation. Effectively collaborates with leaders, peers, and team members to enhance the agency work processes and culture. Advocates strongly for the customer at every opportunity.
Business Process Managers will have Business Process Analyst support as resources when required. They are also expected to engage in presentations and direct communication with the top management level, including the CEO and Executive Management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES
1 Leads and facilitates the identification, prioritization, and regular review of agency and global improvement projects for his/her assigned area of responsibility.
2 Leads and coaches project teams and activities that provide measurable efficiency and effectiveness benefits to the agency, global organization, and customer experience.
3 Develop comprehensive process modeling, project plans as well as track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
4 Collaborates and communicates effectively with peers, top management, and project team members.
5 Use and continually develop leadership skills.
6 MISCELLANEOUS RELATED DUTIES or PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS / ABILITIES
• Understand impact assessment of business process and project initiatives applied to transformation actions
• Understand business processes as part of the entire business operation
• Recognize the interaction of processes and how changes may potentially affect other functions
• Understand process improvement, waste reduction, process mapping, change management, organizational design, process engineering and offshoring concepts and methodologies
• Advanced business acumen
• Plan and implement projects of moderate to high complexity
• Familiar with IT concepts and models (including business requirement document design)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree - Required
Masters Degree - Preferred
General Experience - 6-8 years
Overall industry experience is preferred, as well as in process modeling and improvement, lean six sigma, project management and business transformation.
Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP).
At CMA CGM, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The expected salary range for this position is $76,326 - $127,210 per year. The actual salary offered will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
