Hearth & Home Technologies is looking for a Business Process Improvement Engineer to join our manufacturing team. As the nation's leading manufacturer and supplier of hearth products, we are committed to operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing facilities.

In this role, you will serve as a change agent, partnering with operations, engineering, maintenance, and leadership teams to identify opportunities, eliminate waste, solve complex problems, and drive sustainable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance plant performance and operational results
  • Facilitate root cause problem solving and implement sustainable corrective actions
  • Coach and develop leaders and team members on lean principles and continuous improvement tools
  • Deliver training that strengthens organizational capabilities and supports business objectives
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes, workflows, and production systems
  • Identify improvement opportunities independently and drive solutions from concept through implementation
  • Lead improvement events and large-scale projects that deliver measurable business results
  • Support and strengthen the Lean Management System and 5S culture
  • Promote a safe, collaborative, and accountable work environment

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience leading continuous improvement, operational excellence, engineering, or manufacturing initiatives
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project leadership skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change across all levels of an organization
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and process transformation initiatives
  • Manufacturing operations experience
  • Lean certification or equivalent continuous improvement training preferred

Additional Information
  • This role will support our plants and regional distribution centers on the east coast. Travel expected 25 - 50%.
