Business & Process Development Assistant Manager

The position is an onsite position, working Monday through Friday 6:00am to 3:00pm with a one-hour lunch. As a growing organization, we offer numerous opportunities for professional growth.

Reports to: Manager

The Business & Process Development Assistant Manager is responsible for analyzing and optimizing business processes. Major duties include analyzing improvement needs in daily operations, troubleshooting current/new processes, and identifying areas that need improvement. This position is also responsible for helping organizations to obtain better financial growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consistently using and integrating standard tools and approached within daily operation
  • Working on front-to-back initiatives to make end-to-end processes more effective
  • Creating and presenting process improvement reports
  • Overseeing the implementation of new operation processes
  • Troubleshooting and improving current/new processes
  • Updating process and procedure policies
  • Developing process improvement procedures to improve operational efficiency
  • Analyzing current process standards and metrics in order to provide solutions for improvements
  • Performing data gathering, root cause analysis, and performance trending in order to manage KPIs
  • Identifying areas that need improvement
  • Recommending training activities related to daily operation
  • Developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including a laptop computer and cell phone. The employee is generally required to spend long periods of time sitting, typing, and working at a computer. May require the ability to occasionally lift and transport items. The estimated base salary range for the Business & Process Development Assistant Manager is $86,000-$90,000. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
