Business Process Analyst
The Role
UST is searching for an experienced Business Process Analyst with a strong business continuity background to conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), perform a risk assessment, and provide practical guidance on the components of Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
What You'll Do
• Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
• Plan and conduct BIAs across in-scope business units using interviews, facilitated workshops, and/or questionnaires, while minimizing disruption to operations.
• Identify critical business functions, upstream/downstream process dependencies, and supporting IT system and vendor dependencies.
• BCP Framework & Advisory
• Draft BCP framework components and templates in Google Docs/Sheets, structured for long-term ease of maintenance and version control.
• Review existing continuity materials to identify gaps and advise on industry best practices, governance, and program maturity.
• Collaboration & Reporting
• Partner with the Project Manager and workstream leads; provide regular status updates on progress, risks, and open items.
• Risk Assessment
• Perform an end-to-end assessment of potential threats, vulnerabilities, and single points of failure.
• Score and prioritize risks using a defined likelihood/impact methodology and risk matrix.

What You Need
• Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Process Analyst, Business Continuity Analyst, or in a similar role within enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience conducting Business Impact Analyses and defining RTO/RPO metrics.
• Demonstrated experience performing operational risk assessments, including threat/vulnerability identification and risk scoring.
• Experience contributing to Business Continuity Plan development.
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder interview skills, with the ability to work across business and IT teams.
• Excellent written communication skills; able to produce clear, executive-ready documentation.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional certifications (CBCP, MBCI, AMBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor) or familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34, and DRII Professional Practices.
• Experience in travel, hospitality, retail, or contact center environments.
• Exposure to cloud (e.g., Azure) infrastructure resiliency and data center operations.
Location & Compensation
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Washington
Compensation Range: $102,000-$153,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
