Description JOB SUMMARYThe Business Process Analyst defines, documents, assesses, and analyses the organization's processes and then identifies areas for potential improvement. The focus is on streamlining operations and/or developing solutions that promote improved efficiencies and increased productivity.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRESPONSIBILITY - Initiate and support continuous improvement efforts. Demonstrate a positive attitude and set an example to influence positive change.
- Evaluate processes globally. Identify improvement opportunities and develop solutions to resolve them. This may include working with shop floor personnel to evaluate and implement process mapping, and other appropriate activities to improve process flow and efficiency.
- Work with cross-functional groups, across the company, from shop floor to senior management.
- Demonstrate factual decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and critically evaluating business data.
- Participate in root-cause analysis of process and product issues.
- Prepare project and management reports as required.
- Lead project training and give management presentations as required.
WORKING CONDITIONS - Work indoors or outdoors depending on the assignment. Indoor environment: cold, heat, dust, fumes, airborne particles, minimal to moderate noise levels, machinery, moving equipment. Outdoor environment: rain, extreme cold, wind, extreme heat, dust, moderate to loud noises, machinery, moving equipment.
- Safety requirements: safety glasses, hearing protection, protective footwear, and gloves.
- Additional protective equipment may be required depending on the task or job duty performed.

SALARY RANGE $79,800 - $103,500 Annually.
JOB LOCATION 4737 Toomes Rd, Salida, CA 95368.

Position Requirements EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - 5+ years of continuous improvement experience.
- Experience working with groups of people.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Bachelor's degree in business administration
- SQL, Computer Programming, & Analytics
- Strong computer skills.
- Operational excellence and Lean manufacturing knowledge or experience.

Functional and Technical Skills - Good knowledge of the manufacturing and logistic processes. Proficient in the use of process flow charts and process risk analysis.
- SQL, programming, and database skills
- Proficient in the use of personal computers, including GP, manufacturing systems/production software systems, and mainstream office software.
- Good knowledge and application of lean manufacturing and standard problem-solving processes.
