Full Job Description
This position reports to:
Business Manager - E2E

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the portfolio management of ABB products and solutions. Each day, you will have responsibility for areas such as research & development oversight, product management, strategy, business development, marketing, pricing, go-to-market strategy, and footprint optimization. You will also showcase your expertise by successfully implementing the portfolio strategy, maximizing portfolio performance and delivering the expected growth and profitability results.

The work model for the role is hybrid/remote. We will require onsite presence within our R&D facilities in Mebane, NC but beyond this the person can work remote.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Services division.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Designing and successfully implementing the portfolio/product group strategy and ensuring achievement of performance targets.
  • Developing and managing the products, solutions, systems, and/or service portfolio required to achieve and secure market leadership.
  • Defining the portfolio roadmap including product and solution streamlining, acquisition targets for portfolio synergies, and development opportunities.
  • Ensuring profitable business growth organically and inorganically in the identified markets through optimized production and supply chain footprints, competitive distribution, and go-to-market strategy.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in a senior product or portfolio management responsibility, driving customer and process e xcellence within a manufacturing, commercial, P&L or industrial environment
  • Strong understanding of sales and factory operations, with a track record of successfully connecting the two for improved delivery performance and customer satisfaction
