JOB DESCRIPTION:

Working at Abbott

Our finance organization is focused on transforming how we operate-leveraging automation, data, and digital tools to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across global processes. This role will play a key part in advancing that transformation by leading projects that modernize financial operations and enable data-driven decision-making.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Responsibilities:
  • Execute global finance automation and process improvement projects.
  • Partner with finance, accounting, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and efficiency gains across global processes.
  • Drive adoption/introduction of Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, and Power Apps) to the Nutrition finance organization.
  • Leverage SQL and data querying capabilities to support data validation, reporting, and automation initiatives.
  • Accountable for Training, Adoption, and Support for SAPàDART integration project (need to put in something generic to explain what SAP/DART is, for external folks)
  • Support data infrastructure initiatives, including working with modern platforms such as Databricks to enable scalable and efficient data processing.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence within the finance organization.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU'LL BRING

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within finance, transformation, or technology-driven environments
  • Transformative and vision-driven mindset, willing to challenge the status-quo.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Significant experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, Power Apps)
  • Experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation
  • Ability to engage stakeholders across multiple levels and geographies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment


Preferred:
  • Experience with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms.
  • Familiarity with finance processes (FP&A, accounting, reporting, or forecast processes)
