Description:

As a Business Intelligence Developer Information Technology EHR , you will design, implement, analyze, and modify new and existing programs/systems/integrations for business or patient care needs across the NYPH enterprise. You will document workflows on existing systems as well as implement new, streamlined platforms. Build relationships with clinical users as you document, configure, and test systems. Utilize your communication and leadership skills to drive meetings and manage projects.

Preferred Criteria
  • Degree or major in Computer Science
  • Working knowledge of EDI standards and transactions (e.g., HL7, X12, EDIFACT), including healthcare and/or revenue cycle workflows where applicable.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting complex enterprise interface solutions using engines such as Rhapsody, Corepoint, Cloverleaf (or equivalent), enabling secure and reliable exchange of clinical, ADT, orders, results, and revenue cycle data across EHRs, ancillary systems, and external partners while adhering to healthcare standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting healthcare interoperability solutions leveraging FHIR, RESTful APIs with JSON payloads, including API lifecycle management, security (OAuth 2.0 / SMART on FHIR), compliance (HIPAA, CMS interoperability rules), integration with EHR platforms, and collaboration across technical, clinical, and business stakeholders.
  • Compliant with Change Control policies, familiar with Ticketing systems.

Salary Range:

$66,300-$118,000/Annual
