Job Description:Business Information Developer Consultant SeniorLocation: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location in Richmond, VA. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The
Business Information Developer Consultant Senior is viewed as an expert in the development and execution of data mining analyses.
How you will make an impact:- Undertakes complex assignments requiring additional specialized technical knowledge.
- Develops very complex and varied strategic report applications from a Data Warehouse.
- Establishes and communicates common goal and direction for team.
- Establishes and maintains advanced knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues.
- Acts as a source of direction, training, and guidance for less experienced staff.
- Monitors project schedules and costs for own and other projects.
- Develops and supports very complex Data Warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.
- Conducts training on use of applications developed.
- Spends time thinking about programming and how it would be used to design solutions.
Minimum Requirements:Requires a BS/BA degree; minimum of 6 years' experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experience:- Strong experience in Data Engineering, ETL development, and enterprise data integration highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in MS SQL Server with advanced T-SQL/SQL programming, including stored procedures, functions, views, query optimization, and performance tuning highly preferred.
- Experience writing SQL/PL/SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and validation highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Data Modeling concepts, including logical, physical, and dimensional data models highly preferred.
- Experience working with enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments and large-scale data integration solutions highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with one or more enterprise databases, including: MS SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle, Teradata, Sybase highly preferred.
- Experience developing and maintaining Shell Scripts to support ETL processes and data operations highly preferred.
- Experience with Control-M for job scheduling, workflow automation, and batch process monitoring highly preferred.
- Experience using GitHub or other version control systems for source code management and collaborative development highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills for ETL processes and database workloads highly preferred.
- Experience with Snowflake data warehouse design, optimization, and cloud data migration highly preferred.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including Star and Snowflake schema design highly preferred.
- Strong data analysis and data validation skills highly preferred.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills highly preferred.
For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $120,720 to $181,080
