ROLE SUMMARY
The Business Excellence Senior Manager is responsible for strengthening commercial performance across assigned commercial markets through ideation and implementation of insights, tools and best practices. This role will be responsible for close partnership with commercial leaders within their assigned markets, understand advanced analytical and best practice needs to deliver on GH&B goals. They will also work to harmonize consistent process effectiveness and excellence across all GH&B commercial departments as well as manage and lead implementation of enterprise-wide culture initiatives.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Translates global commercial effectiveness strategies into market-ready solutions tailored to diverse market needs.
Commercial lead for complex projects leveraging artificial intelligence, machine learning, web bots, databases, etc. and gain a deeper understanding of the GH&B market, identify trends and opportunities, forecast future outcomes, to support data-driven business decisions that improve efficiency and drive strategic growth.
Represent business needs in ideating, designing and deploying intuitive dashboards that transform raw data into meaningful reports, tailored to meet the unique needs of their assigned commercial market to help make informed decisions quickly.
Develop sound business cases related to technology business decision projects, detailing the benefits, drawbacks, resources and needed budget.
Work closely with the Commercial Innovation and Excellence Director to articulate commercial business needs, so they can effectively operationalize in digital development.
Supports GTM optimization, sales execution, and decision-making through data-driven insights.
Evaluate digital assets to ensure optimal colleague experience steeped in deep business and customer insights.
Diagnose performance trends using analytics to inform resource allocation and commercial decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Medical, Portfolio, Digital) to drive integrated market execution.
Embed commercial best practices across markets and support improvements to sales execution and GTM models
Manage and lead implementation of enterprise-wide culture initiatives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of
experience; OR a master's degree with at least 5 years of experience; OR a PhD with 1+ years of experience
5-8 years of experience in the generic pharmaceutical industry with strong history of achievement and performance; 3 years of commercial operations experience.
Proven ability to lead a team to accomplish organizational commitments and goals.
Intellectual rigor and flexibility/tenacity to identify and manage strategic trade-offs.
Strong leadership skills; experience influencing and leading highly effective teams in a complex, fluid and multidisciplinary, matrix environment without formal authority.
Takes initiative and works proactively with a positive attitude; self-starter with ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
Excellent verbal/written communication, listening and presentation skills; ability to pull together information from multiple (sometimes disparate) sources and synthesize it in a manner that allows users to more clearly understand.
Evidence of strong influence/negotiation prowess and relationship management capabilities; proven ability to build cross-functional relationships both laterally and hierarchically across the organization.
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple critical and complex projects with a wide-ranging group of constituents; proven track record of being able to prioritize and achieve successful outcomes; ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $124,400.00 to $207,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
