Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• 13+ years of experience in Business Development, Engagement Manager, Account/Relationship
Management, or Consulting roles.
• Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences R&D domain, including Drug Discovery,
Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Pharmacovigilance.
• Good understanding of Scientific Data Strategy & Analytics (SDSA),
• Proven track record of building executive relationships and growing business within large
pharmaceutical organizations.
• Strong understanding of AI, Generative AI, Data & Analytics, Digital Transformation, and modern
technology platforms.
• Ability to engage business stakeholders, understand strategic priorities, and align solutions to
business outcomes.
• Exceptional executive stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to engage with CXOs, R&D leaders, and business executives.
• Strong consultative selling and influencing capabilities.
• Ability to connect business outcomes with technology-led solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with Customer R&D leaders and key business stakeholders.
• Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities across the R&D value chain.
• Understand Customer's strategic priorities, pain points, and transformation goals.
• Drive strategic conversations around Scientific Data Strategy, Data Platforms, Research Informatics,
Knowledge Management, and AI-powered decision-making.
• Position TCSs R&D, Digital, Data, Cloud, and AI/GenAI capabilities to solve business problems and
drive innovation.
• Partner with TCS delivery, consulting, and solution teams to develop compelling value propositions
and proposals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on emerging industry trends, AI adoption, and digital transformation across
R&D and SDSA functions.
• Drive revenue growth, account expansion, and long-term strategic partnerships.
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
Preferred Qualifications
• Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or related field.
• MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred.
• Experience working with top pharmaceutical companies is highly desirable.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar strategic accounts.
• Knowledge of current pharmaceutical R&D technology landscape and AI-driven innovation initiatives.
Salary Range: $110,000- $130,000 a year
