Role: Business Development Manager
Location: Fredericksburg, VA 22401
Role Type: Full time

Candidate Screening Questionnaire:
1. Federal BD & Capture Experience
Can you describe your experience in federal business development and capture
management? Specifically, how many years have you worked across the full
federal procurement lifecycle?

2. Win Track Record
Can you share examples of federal contracts you have successfully won (prime
or subcontract)? What was your role in the capture and win strategy?

3. FAR & Contract Vehicles Knowledge
How familiar are you with FAR/DFARS regulations and contract vehicles such as
GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, or GSA Schedules? Please provide examples of your
hands-on experience.

4. Pipeline & Tools Usage
What tools have you used for opportunity tracking and market intelligence (e.g.,
GovWin, SAM.gov)? How do you manage and maintain a qualified pipeline?

Key Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Government, or related field (or equivalent
experience)
• 5+ years of business development, capture, or sales experience in federal
contracting
• Proven success winning federal contracts (prime and/or subcontract)
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition processes
• Experience with contract vehicles such as GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, and GSA
Schedules
• Established network within federal agencies and/or government contractors
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in IT, cybersecurity, Special Operations, intelligence, engineering,
logistics, or related fields
• Active security clearance (Secret or Top Secret)
• Familiarity with tools such as GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, and USA spending
• Capture management and/or proposal development experience
• Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APMP)
