Job Summary
Taurus Power and Controls - a Pacific Northern Environmental LLC Company, is seeking a Business Development Manager II who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment and has the ability to provide exceptional service to our company, clients, and employees.
The Business Development Manager II is responsible for generating new leads and sells a portfolio of services to complement our current products and services. This position will promote and cross-sell other establishment products and services for our respected PNE Divisions (AET, Taurus Power, etc.) as appropriate to customer needs.
Education and Experience Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License Required and the ability to be insured under the company's driving insurance plan.
- Must possess a minimum of 4 years' industry knowledge and/or services experience.
- Strong electrical knowledge with the ability to read and estimate from blueprints.
- Working understanding of automation and control technologies (e.g., PLC/SCADA systems, control panels, power systems), with willingness to deepen technical expertise on the job
- Industrial services background is a must. Familiarity with or connections within key verticals such as water/wastewater, manufacturing, energy, or infrastructure sectors is a plus.
- Business Development or Sales experience, with demonstrated results.
- ability to execute sales objectives and meet performance goals.
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work independently.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Must have demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are required.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager II possessing the education and experience listed above performs the following:
- Works in a team environment with a spirit of
- Safely operate and maintain company or personal vehicle(s) as required for job duties, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to uncover new opportunities for expansion.
- Identify and pursue new business partnerships, potential clients, and channels for revenue growth by various methods, including cold calling, networking, social media outreach, and attending trade shows.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, existing customers, partners, and industry influencers.
- Develop a sales pipeline of potential clients and partners and manage them through the sales process.
- Presenting proposals to potential clients, including handling negotiations and closing deals.
- Prepare weekly reports on business development activities, performance metrics, and sales pipeline progress.
- Cross-sell additional services from all PNE's companies to existing and new clients.
- Attend and represent the company at industry conferences, meetings, and

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
The candidate must possess and be adaptable to the following physical abilities and working conditions:
- Move about inside and outside offices.
- Operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machines, computer printer, etc.
- Occasionally ascend/descend stairs.
- Ability to accurately communicate in such a way that others will understand.
- Occasionally move office equipment up to 10lbs.
- Could occasionally be in outdoor weather conditions.
- May perform customer site walks in an industrial and/or construction environment, where noise levels are high at times and may involve confined spaces.
- Must be able to successfully complete basic physical examination, including baseline and annual/periodic testing, as required for the role.
- Must be able to successfully complete baseline and annual/periodic audiometric testing as a condition of employment.
